WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Dawn Chaput
Karen is a master at asking good questions and sharing teachings that help folks to get to know and relate to all parts of themselves, through the creative process. There is a richness in her creative invitations which are steeped in generative space to create, reflect, and respond. I’ve been grateful for her generosity of spirit anytime I’ve gotten to work with her!
Cayle Fiala
I was lucky enough to have Karen as one of my professors for multiple counselling courses through my graduate degree, specifically Group Counselling as my first introduction to the theory and practicality of therapy. She educates with every sense of the word passion, from her gentle spoken word, approachable body language, to presenting creative invitations for inquiry learning. Her forward thinking inspires learners to embody self-reflection and self-discovery through the process of exploring the potential of our innate selves, as well as unlearning internal barriers. Her educational techniques are each purposeful and critical in the process of becoming a respected and professional psychotherapist.
Kyla Warnecke
Karen is incredibly compassionate and kind. She genuinely meets each person where they are without judgment and she creates an incredible open and safe space to explore one's self. Karen's impact has left a beautiful and lasting impressing in my heart and I am forever grateful.
Pam Truscott-White
'Attention is the rarest form of generosity'. This quote by Simone Weiill describes Karen's ability to creat an atmosphere of 'personal sage opening'. It describes my experience as an individual in her groups. Here presence allowed and nurtured each one of us to look out our windows and open our doors.... A truly gifted facilitator.
Katherine Engen
I have known Karen for fifteen years, give or take a few more. I first met Karen through Valley Ridge Art Studio, where she came and taught several genres, including expressive art, tarot life path numbers, intuition building, therapeutic focusing, and understanding archetypes. Her knowledge base in these areas is exemplary. She is compassionate, generous, and insightful, which opens the door to trust and communication on your path of personal awareness. She is, by far, a gifted facility, teacher, and therapist.
